As the Executive Director of Fábrica de Historias and Nosotras Women Connecting, Marysela Zamora-Villalobos serves as a creative and innovation leader, strategy director, and speaker and facilitator. While in the U.S., Zamora-Villalobos worked with Alamo Area Council of Local Governments in San Antonio, TX, where she engaged in community building, communication, and citizen engagement. Since her return to Costa Rica, Zamora-Villalobos has focused her efforts on Nosotras Women Connecting, a platform to promote girls and women's leadership in politics and business in Costa Rica, Latin America and Kenya, Africa and Soy Valentia, a community  for teenagers and young women to strengthen their leadership in Costa Rica through a storytelling platform and a fictional digital character named Valentia.
