As the National Programme Officer of UNODC, Takhmina Rakhimova oversees the overall coordination of global and national projects, writes reports, and establishes strong cooperation with state and non-state partners. While in the U.S., Rakhimova worked with Women Centre of Georgia Tech University in Atlanta, Georgia, where she participated in all events devoted to prevention of violence and assisted in the implementation of daily activities. Since her return to Tajikistan, Rakhimova has focused her efforts on rehabilitation and social reintegration of prisoners into society, supporting the creation of national brands of prison products aimed at enhancing prisoners' work and products with a view to generate income for prisoners and youth crime prevention through sports.
