Brandon Kemp
Brandon works in the Business Services sector leading Tin Ferl. A community developer, the fellow runs a small business incubator in the street food industry. Tin Ferl provides a service to those who are unable to access the capital required to start a traditional business through an alternative yet congruent route for aspiring entrepreneurs—pop-up parks. Their pop-up parks provide a low-cost daily location, an affordable alternative to a bricks-and-mortar storefront, and a COVID-safe outside venue that offers access to customers through collaborative marketing and clientele building. The fellow credits Tin Ferl’s unique quality to its community identity; it is not simply a business. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Brandon’s top business challenge is Finance.
