Naida works in the Food & Beverage sector leading Banco de Alimentos de Bolivia (BAB). Naida has expertise in food engineering and project development, currently leading the development of a food processing plant for BAB and a bill to manage food waste in industries. The company offers food in a perfect state of consumption but not suitable for commercialization. They provide food of high nutritional value mainly to children, the elderly, and people in a state of malnutrition, who cannot obtain the food for economic reasons. They not only rescue food but also monitor and evaluate the beneficiaries through their nutritional support system to ensure the impact. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Naida’s top business challenge is Scaling & Expansion.
