Nina Escamilla
Nina works in the Food and Beverage sector leading Früvethy. As a food engineer, Nina strives to find innovative ways to utilize technology and foster alliances with small agricultural producers in the Mexican food industry. Früvethy’s snacks are mostly plant-based, portioned individually and conveniently packaged to be consumed on the go. They are freeze dried, so they require no artificial additives. Früvethy’s clientele consists of people who seek healthy food options, but do not have time for meal preparation. Früvethy’s snacks are the unique result of the creative use of technology, sourcing from small producers, and a mindset of practicality in each aspect of the business. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Nina ’s top business challenge is Operations.
