As the president for Nazarene Missions International, Ruth Takapera has experience initiating viable community development projects to empower women and provide learning opportunities for vulnerable youth. For her CSP practicum, Ruth collaborated with ONABEN in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she created messaging for stakeholders, designed and managed a website design, and coordinated the rebranding of existing materials. For her follow-on project in Zimbabwe, Ruth plans improve the lives of women by creating saving groups, providing business and career workshops, and working to reduce early childhood marriages.
