As the pride hub team leader for the Rainbow Pride Foundation, Aisake Kalougata Savuwalu has experience in sexual orientation, gender identity and expression training, HIV/AIDS awareness, disaster risk management for the LGBTQI+ community, psychological first aid, and sustainable livelihood. For their CSP practicum, Aisake collaborated with the Milwaukee LGBT Community Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and worked on community partnerships and strategic plans and implemented standards while resolving program problems. For their follow-on project in Fiji, Aisake plans to start a program for the LGBTQI+ community that provides a safe space for diverse individuals with a focus on suicide prevention and resilience in natural disasters.
