As a leader, practitioner, and researcher for non-profit organizations and consultancies, Yoke Pean Thye has experience in a range of sectors, from the environment, water sanitation, hygiene, humanitarian response, to social entrepreneurship. For their CSP practicum, Yoke collaborated with Algiers Economic Development Foundation in New Orleans, Louisiana, helping to map and connect the food ecosystem in the Algiers community, from small farms to entrepreneurs to small restaurants and more. For their follow-on project in Singapore, Yoke plans to create an Animal Welfare Network to improve animal welfare through advocacy and public education, bringing the voices and resources of animal organizations, influencers, the public, and other relevant stakeholders together.
