As a migration expert for the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Dorel Balliu has experience in migrant-community issues by managing projects and upholding the rights of migrants while raising advocacy initiatives. For his CSP practicum, Dorel collaborated with the Colorado People's Alliance where he focused on strategies for climate, economic justice, and immigration policy. For his follow-on project in Albania, Dorel plans to support transparancy and accountability by reviewing and reporting on government policies and spending on economic, environmental, and/or immigrant justice issues."
