As a media content producer for the WatchDog.MD Community, Ecaterina Miscisina has experience raising awareness and countering manipulation, disinformation, and propaganda spread through local media financed by Russia. For her CSP practicum, Ecaterina collaborated with the Marie Colvin Center for International Reporting at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook, New York. She assisted in advising students who were interested in international reporting and the global spread of disinformation as well as on proposals for funding initiatives and participating in creating media outputs related to her expertise. For her follow-on project in Moldova, Ecaterina plans to build resilience to Kremlin propaganda by promoting critical thinking and engaging the Moldovan public through entertaining video content.
