As the founder and chief executive officer of Jar Thuraya, Martine Zaarour has experience in managing a supply chain of farmers and women who are the main beneficiaries of the business as well as experience with design and branding. For her CSP practicum, Martine collaborated with Centro Community Partners in Oakland, California where she helped to design, test, and improve systems used to communicate with entrepreneurs. For her follow-on project in Lebanon, Martine plans to equip a central kitchen to host women and train them to supply the new markets utilizing a zero waste strategy.
