As a former project assistant for the NGO "Parents of Children with Disabilities," Mohirakhoni Husnidinzoda has experience in solving community issues affecting the lives of Children with Disabilities and their successful integration into society. For her CSP practicum, Mohirakhoni collaborated with NSITE in Alexandria, VA where she worked to aid blind and visually impaired individuals in acquiring jobs in an effort to substantially reduce the unemployment rate for this untapped workforce. For her follow-on project in Tajikistan, Mohirakhoni plans to create an adapted school curriculum that will be used in three pilot schools in the Sughd Region and conduct training for teachers.
