Ian McInturf is a program coordinator on the Fellow Experience and Recruitment & Selection components of the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Program.

Ian joined IREX  as a YLAI intern in April 2022. Since joining the YLAI team, Ian has played a key role in preparations and execution of all logistics and accommodations as it pertains to Fellow experience throughout the Fellowship, has served as the YLAI Program point of contact for all U.S. embassies and consulates across the Western Hemisphere, and coordinates YLAI’s recruitment, application, and selection component to determine the Fellows who comprise future cohorts.

Ian is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and a graduate of Kenyon College with a bachelor’s degree in international studies of development and a minor in Spanish.
