For corporate organizations and individuals, Make It Pop Events is a decorations company that helps customers celebrate life’s special occasions. The company creates the concepts of events and brings them to life by paying attention to detail. Jaleesa’s main short-term goal is to add more people to the team. The long-term goal is to revolutionize the event planning industry in the Bahamas by providing high-end services on a large scale. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Jaleesa’s top business challenge is Talent, but they also face the challenge of finding ways to overcome the difficulties of living on a small island with limited resources. During the Fellowship Placement, Jaleesa aims to gain valuable knowledge and experience about the daily operations and cultural practices of a US business.
