Jimmy works in the education sector as the Founder, Director, and Opportunity Seeker for Universidad de la Vida. For youths, teens, and parents in Ecuador, Universidad de la Vida is an education provider that uses its resources to help people overcome emotional and aspirational challenges, understand themselves, and connect with others by offering educational projects via podcasts, workshops, and conferences to help people grow emotionally and reach their personal goals. Jimmy’s short-term goal is to develop four workshops in the next year. Their long-term vision is to be the first organization focusing on emotional education to offer educational services to families throughout Ecuador. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Jimmy’s top business challenge is Finance. More specifically, they want to learn how to make a social entrepreneurship project profitable. During the Fellowship Placement, Jimmy hopes to learn about managing social entrepreneurship projects.
