Juan works in the business services sector as the CEO and Owner of Mark-a-Web Services. For organizations in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) interested in achieving their privacy, security, GRC and ESG compliance, and operational goals, Mark-a-Web Services is a data protection consultancy that works to implement technology for workflow, robotic process, and AI automation and also provides training and certification for employees in these areas and in ISO standards. In the short term, Juan aims to ensure recurring revenue by acquiring at least ten technology implementation projects for organizations that process large amounts of personal data. Ultimately, their vision is to become the leading data protection consultancy for the LAC region. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Juan’s top business challenge is Finance. More specifically, they want to build a team and acquire larger clients to gain financial stability and grow the organization. During the Fellowship Placement, Juan hopes to gain knowledge of how other organizations and individuals have overcome such challenges and also develop leadership qualities.
