Luis works in the youth empowerment sector as the CEO/Co-Founder of Propacha Project Company. For companies who recognize the need to demonstrate corporate social responsibility and young people aged eighteen to thirty-five years with a passion for volunteerism and the environment, Propacha is an environmental impact organization that takes on the social responsibility requirements of large companies and improves their images by implementing projects, raising their awareness of environmental issues, and employing volunteer teams. In the short term, Luis aims to create a system that builds Propacha teams in many cities to carry out triple-impact projects. Ultimately, Luis plans to make Propacha the best-known environmental company in Latin America that centralizes social responsibility. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Luis’ top business challenge is Scaling and Expansion. More specifically, they want to scale their business model and attain the necessary resources and funding to provide for the volunteer workforces, allowing Propacha to approach any company and offer projects with real impact. During the Fellowship Placement, Luis hopes to gain knowledge on processes, strategies, tactics, managing resources, and working methods and partner with an organization that can help Propacha with people management applications, model expansion opportunities, and financing.
