Maxime works in the food and beverage sector as the CEO of Field Ayiti. For institutions providing nutritional support in Haiti and worldwide, Field Ayiti is a food and beverage service that offers NGOs a local and more efficient alternative to imported food for communities in need, allowing humanitarian aid to support the local economy. Maxime aims to transform the company into a global flour plant in the short term and, in the term, to provide high-calorie food worldwide. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Maxime’s top business challenge is Operations. More specifically, they hope to obtain the necessary machinery from America, a goal hindered by a lack of information thus far. During the Fellowship Placement, Maxime hopes to gain the knowledge of and insight into the flour plants required to export and build a more comprehensive network.
