Sergio works in the film and media sector as ESB’s (Electronic Sports Broadcasting) BD Director and Partner. ESB is an esports channel with an audience of over three million unique users, consisting of young individuals aged between eighteen and thirty, that provides mid-sized to large brands looking for a young Spanish audience with a direct communication platform to reach their target audience. Sergio’s short-term goal is to expand ESB’s operation to Mexico and other countries internationally. Ultimately, Sergio aims to use ESB to empower young minds by developing esports and fostering a higher level of industry professionalism in Latin America. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Sergio’s top business challenge is Scaling & Expansion, particularly reaching other countries and impacting more lives. During the Fellowship Placement, Sergio hopes to gain knowledge and insight into developing and growing his network and understanding how to have more impact as a business-to-business company.
