Sergio works in the business services sector as the Founder and CEO of Jobby. Jobby is an employee benefits company specializing in entertainment-focused benefits that helps businesses of all sizes attract and retain talent and reduce burnout or stress among workers, thus improving work performance and reducing absenteeism due to stress-related illnesses. Its referral platform provides diverse options that save HR professionals time and allows them to focus on value-creation activities. Sergio’s short-term objective is to determine a market validation strategy and establish attractive pricing and offerings to allow potential customers to see the advantage of providing Jobby’s benefits to their employees. Long term, Sergio hopes to impact the lives of as many people as possible, improving work–life balance and helping people feel happier and more fulfilled. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Sergio’s top business challenge is Strategy, more specifically, creating market validation strategies so companies can see the tangible value of his services. During the Fellowship Placement, Sergio hopes to gain experience and insights into strategically gaining market share and scaling solutions based on digital components and platforms.
