Stephanie works in the energy and environment sector as the Manager of Recoleccion Punto Norte. For vehicle repair shops, mines, agricultural fields, and factories that lack the knowledge or ability to fulfil mandatory safe disposal requirements, Recoleccion Punto Norte is an environmental waste management company that facilitates and offers advice to clients regarding how to accurately and efficiently manage and dispose of hazardous waste, reducing the amount of waste that ends up in streets, sewers, and groundwater bodies and ensuring companies pass future audits. Stephanie aims to obtain more clients in the short term and ultimately to import waste oil from the U.S. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Stephanie’s top business challenge is Law & Policy. More specifically, they want to obtain government licenses and overcome bureaucratic barriers. During the Fellowship Placement, Stephanie hopes to gain knowledge and simplify their existing processes. They are eager to learn efficiency as well as how the waste management process differs in the U.S. and to connect with waste oil suppliers.
