Maria works in the food and beverage sector as the Co-Founder and Administrator of Re Market. For individuals aged thirty to fifty years that are interested in protecting the environment, Re Market is a free packaged goods retailer providing clients with solutions to minimize waste and easily recycle packaging. Maria’s short-term goal is to increase Re Market’s sales by 50% by the end of the year. Ultimately, Maria wants Re Market to become a benchmark company educating new generations on the importance of caring for the environment and fair and local trade. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Maria’s top business challenge is Strategy. More specifically, they want to grow and establish their company in the market without neglecting their purpose of caring for the environment. During the Fellowship Placement, Maria hopes to gain knowledge to address their challenges, grow their network, gain business expertise, and enhance their leadership skills.
