Daniel works in the media sector as the CEO and Founder of Quindío Noticias. For people of the Eje Cafetero, Caldas, Quindío, and Risaralda regions of Colombia, Quindío Noticias is a free news and media platform that provides impartial information about events in their region, allowing users to make conscious decisions and better choices. Daniel aims for the company to be the most followed newspaper in their region in the short term and ultimately to be the most trusted newspaper in their region. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Daniel’s top business challenge is Marketing & Sales. More specifically, their biggest challenge is developing trust within their community. During the Fellowship Placement, Daniel hopes to gain contacts, tools, tips, and resources to improve their business and to allow them to make an impact on their community.
