Sandy Khaleel Sabri Dabobash is a senior program officer at IREX in Jordan, where she leads the strategic direction and operational management of USAID pre-service teacher education programs.

In this role, Sandy represents the program in high-profile engagements, oversees the development of capacity-building plans for universities, and ensures the production of key program deliverables, including reports, training materials, and policy guidelines.

Since joining IREX in 2020, Sandy has been pivotal in advancing educational programs across Jordan, focusing on enhancing teacher education and leveraging technology to support program objectives. She played a crucial role in facilitating a U.S. study tour for pre-service teacher education, contributed to program reports for USAID, and developed tracking systems for monitoring project contracts. Sandy’s efforts have significantly bolstered the success and sustainability of IREX’s education programs in the region.

Before her current role, Sandy held various positions at IREX in Jordan, including program officer and active learning technology officer. In these roles, Sandy managed research studies, developed technical assessments, and supported program quality through data analysis and resource exploration. Her experience also includes roles in community engagement and conflict management with Mercy Corps, administrative and coordination responsibilities with ARDD and UNHCR, and consulting with Finn Church Aid.

Sandy holds a BA in modern languages (French and English) from AlZaytonah University. Her extensive training in project management, gender data analysis, and educational technology underscores her commitment to professional growth and excellence in her field.
