Abigaíl López
Abigaíl López is the administrative assistant for IREX’s Guatemalan Office. She provides administrative and financial assistance for the programs being implemented in Guatemala and the region. She supports the office’s management to ensure compliance in every administrative and financial process and executes local procurement for the office.
Abigaíl started her career at IREX’s Guatemalan office. She joined the Transformative Action Project (PAT) for a temporary position, but a year later she was offered the position of Administrative Assistance for the local office. In her role of Administrative Assistance, she has successfully dealt with diverse administrative and logistical challenges. She currently supports programs with all types of tasks such preparing budgets, procuring diverse types of supplies and services, negotiating with suppliers; as well as with logistical support and overall assistance to ensure compliance.
Abigaíl is currently studying for a bachelor's degree in business administration at the University of San Carlos de Guatemala.
