Mr. Abu Bakarr Kamara is the Coordinator for the Budget Advocacy Network (BAN) Sierra Leone and has been working around budget and IT related issues for the past eight years. He is responsible for ensuring that both national and local government budgets are transparent, accountable, and participatory, so as to ensure that budgets are fair for the poor.

Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Mr. Kamara plans to use this knowledge of technology to increase budget transparency in rural Sierra Leone in an effort to ensure that goods and services provided by the government are accessible for the entire community and that the government is monitored in its delivery of goods and services.
