Ahmed Naleba
As the Executive Director of Communication and Information Technology for Agriculture and Rural Development (CITARD), Ahmed Naleba, who also is a graduate of Information Technology, is using his ICT knowledge to help increase agricultural productivity in his community. He does this through trainings, knowledge sharing, video shows, and other informal activities. As a Community Solutions Program Fellow, Naleba hopes to learn more about project planning and management, specifically in the monitoring and evaluation of community-led projects.
Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Naleba plans to ensure every household in his home community that has no access to grid power gets an opportunity to acquire solar lamps for lighting and phone charging under his Sustainable Clean Energy for All (SCEA) Project.
