Aida Brdar
As a Quality Manager and Project Coordinator for NARKO-NE, Aida Brdar has experience developing empowering young people through education in the areas of conflict resolution, advocacy, professionalization and community growth. Upon returning to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aida plans to establish a network of 8-10 organizations from ethnically and nationally divided communities. Aida will be placed at River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding in Gainsville, Florida assisting with a new initiative to develop a Community Justice Model, particularly for refugee populations, where she will also will receive training in the programming, including social-emotional learning, restorative practices, dialogues, and trauma awareness and resilience building.
