Ala’a Abdo is a program officer for the Mums Project in Jordan.

Ala’a supports all aspects of program implementation including monitoring subgrants and providing technical assistance to subgrantees. Ala’a also contributes to designing and implementing program activities, and manages the project’s monitoring and evaluation.

Ala’a started her career in the private sector. She then moved to the nonprofit sector and worked extensively on gender activities, including developing gender guidelines for programs, conducting training for staff and beneficiaries in local communities, and holding awareness sessions and community engagement activities. Ala’a has supported gender analyses and assessments and has developed toolkits and other technical resources.
