As a Journalist, Project Coordinator, and PR of Contemporary Women Festival for Radio Kameleon & Contemporary Women Festival, Amra Avdić has experience creating stories based on gender equality themes, creating more than 100 press releases in the last year for events dedicated to women, and running a radio program. For her follow-on project in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amra plans to implement a concrete strategy for greater involvement of women in politics and to implement it by providing a support system for all women who have decided to run for office.

Amra will be placed at Minnesota Women’s Press in Minneapolis, MN to interview women in politics and find out what community support they have received and whose support has been key to their results so far.
