Ana Paula Uriarte
Ana works in the education sector as the Co-Founder of Escola Happen. For young people between the ages of twenty and thirty seeking to to develop skills that are essential for their professional development, such as communication and leadership, Escola Happen is a digital education platform that offers an engaging app that helps users to develop their skills through educational technologies such as microlearning and gamification. Ana’s short-term goal is to help the company reach one million users in 2024. In the long term, they aim to make Escola Happen the largest soft skills development platform for young people in Brazil and expand it internationally. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Ana’s top business challenge is Scaling & Expansion, more specifically, increasing the company’s active user base without losing the engagement of students using the app. During the Fellowship Placement, Ana hopes to gain knowledge and skills in scaling a digital solution based on real customer needs.
