Ana works in the education sector as the Founder, Educational Consultant, and Communication Director of Cósmica Consulting. For Latin American students interested in studying abroad and seeking information about academic programs, scholarships, grants, and aid, Cósmica Consulting is an education consulting organization offering one-on-one and group consultations, vocational counseling, closed group workshops, lectures on human rights, consultancy on educational communication and marketing, and advertising for universities, helping students achieve their full potential in academic and professional settings. Ana aims to offer personalized consulting services and workshops so that Latin American students can fulfill their dreams of studying abroad and bring their knowledge back to their home countries to help their communities. Ultimately, they would like to give access to education and opportunities locally and internationally at every level of study to students from Latin America. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Ana’s top business challenge is Operations. More specifically, since very few people understand the nuances of educational financing, the fellow has not been able to delegate the tasks of attending to students and other stakeholders because it is highly specialized. Hence, this fellow wants to learn to find, train, and maintain talented human resources to grow their company. During the Fellowship Placement, Ana hopes to gain experience in educational technology, corporate finance management, and social impacts of business.
