Ana works in the Agriculture & Animal Care sector leading Cooperativa de Trabajo Coopsol Ltda, the largest beekeeping cooperative in northern Argentina, which works with 250 families of farmers to produce high-value organic and fair-trade honey. Most honey importers in Europe are interested in quality and organic certification, and Ana’s honey is often used to improve other honey, as it is recognized for its exotic composition and health properties. Ana is currently conducting a study on the metabolic properties of Atamisqui honey, which have potential health benefits to drive consumer demand and enhance the livelihoods of vulnerable people in local communities. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Ana’s top business challenge is Marketing & Sales.
