Andrés works in the Education sector, leading CIVIX Colombia (an organization that turns students into active, participating, and democratic citizens) as a manager of innovative educational processes. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, this fellow’s top business challenge is marketing and sales. During the host placement, Andrés hopes to learn from the organizational culture of American companies, their people, their values, and their ability to sell goods and services with social value. This fellow believes that knowing these experiences firsthand will allow them to replicate these practices in Colombia, increasing the impact and scale of their innovation.
