Angela Marin
Angela Marin has taught and trained persons with disabilities since 2004. She is a founding member of the Technology and Disability Association of Peru, an organization which promotes the independence and rights of blind women in Peru and also gives training to blind and visually impaired people such as herself to use adaptive computer software for accessing information and communication. During her CSP fellowship, Marin worked with the Nebraska Center for the Blind, receiving mobility and independent living skills, as well as working with the center staff to improve and adapt some of the technology programming. Marin has worked to advocate for the development of a similar independent living training center in Peru since returning, as well as to offer smaller, independent courses to blind students.
