As a former Program Officer for the Center for Sustainable Development Studies, Anh Mai Huynh Nguyen has experience coordinating activities for international volunteers and monitoring education projects. For her follow-on project in Vietnam, Mai plans to apply what she has learned to support schoolgirls in rural areas and motivate and maintain education through the mentor-mentee approach on knowledge and life skills sharing.

Mai will be placed at DreamYard in New York City, NY to gain experience in narrowing the gender gap through education.
