As the co-founder and director of Sambhawana, Anita Thapa works on projects to transform the way youth participate in the civic and political arenas of Nepal. During her CSP fellowship, Thapa worked with the Civic Ed Project in Boston, Massachusetts, which uses restorative justice circles to help high school students identify and resolve her own conflicts in a non-violent way. Upon returning to her home country, Thapa started a Nepali version of Civic Schools using restorative justice circles within the schools in her own community.
