Anthony Latta is the Chief Financial Officer at IREX, where he provides strategic leadership to the team responsible for developing and implementing global financial planning, management, compliance, and oversight to continue strengthening and sustaining IREX's financial health.

Anthony brings 20 years of finance and accounting experience and has led finance, accounting, and project functions in the United States and abroad, supporting customers and donors in international development including public health, public-health commodity supply chain, rule of law, governance, trade, and conflict prevention and stabilization. He has considerable experience supporting finance and accounting operations in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations for U.S. government contracts and grants, as well as support instruments from multilateral organizations. Anthony has primarily worked in the United States but has completed long-term assignments in Kenya and Afghanistan and numerous short-term assignments, largely in Europe, Eurasia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. 

Prior to joining IREX, Anthony was controller at Amazon’s Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS), where he focused on ERP design and implementation, government compliance, and technical and operational accounting for Amazon’s investment in satellite internet services for U.S. government and allied government customers. Anthony has also served as a finance and accounting executive at Abt Associates, Chemonics and IRG, where, among other roles, he led financial analysis and planning, financial reporting, internal audit, government audit response, enterprise valuation, M&A, treasury, and accounting operations functions. 

Anthony holds an MBA and MS in Finance from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University-Bloomington, an MA in International Affairs from American University, and a BA in Russian Language and Area Studies from Texas Tech University. He speaks Russian and intermediate Ukrainian, and he is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia.
