Arielle Gousse
Arielle Gousse is a program officer for the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders working to support various events.
In this role, Arielle assists in the planning and implementation of Fellowship events, such as the annual Summit, bringing together multiple facets of the Fellowship network for large and small-scale events, while continuing to engage external stakeholders like regional experts and corporate partners.
Prior to IREX, Arielle worked in various capacities with higher education institutions focusing on supporting non-traditional and/or underrepresented students, event planning, and diversity, equity, and inclusion professional development and training specifically with international education professionals. With these various experiences, Arielle brings diverse insights to IREX to continue innovating Fellowship events for program participants. Arielle has an M.A. in international education from The George Washington University and a B.A in recreation and event management from the University of Florida.
