Arkie Jairus Tarr is a social entrepreneur, environmental advocate, and organizing secretary for the Organisation of African Youth (OAYouth), where he manages membership, collaborative partnerships, and regional meetings. He has experience in social media management and digital marketing and also holds certificates in graphic and layout design as well as advanced training in book publishing and designs, basic Content Management System or web design (CMS), software development, and internet security. As a Community Solutions Program Fellow, Tarr hopes to learn some of the best practices in green economy and jobs as well as social enterprise.

Upon his return, Tarr intends to work on establishing a waste collection program that targets students, providing them school aid and contributing to a cleaner community.
