As Executive Director at the Nepalese organization Dakshata, Ashis Himali oversees a number of projects that seek to increase local communities’ awareness regarding cultural integration, transparency, and accountability.  During his CSP fellowship, Himali worked with Peace First’s national office in Boston, implementing new monitoring and evaluation systems, as well as training AmeriCorps members. Upon returning to Nepal, he worked to start an education campaign among youth focusing on resolving ethnic conflicts and ensuring that all people understand their rights under Nepal’s inclusive constitution.
