As a Program Coordinator for Kyan-Dyne-Aung Community Based Organization, Aung advocates for four main community development projects: non-formal education, micro-finance, community clinics, and youth empowerment. Aung is an expert in education, youth development, capacity building, advocacy and project management and has developed skills in partnership and evaluation. During his fellowship in the United States, Aung hopes to learn about sustainable development, women’s empowerment and effective educational support for children, while also developing his skills in project management, negotiation and networking. Upon returning from the Community Solutions Program, Aung plans to establish a sustainable development fund for Kyan-Dyne-Aung.
