As a junior administrative specialist for the German Agency for International Cooperation, Ayzada Uzakhbaeva has experience supporting and monitoring women’s economic and sustainable empowerment in rural areas of Karakalpakstan and Khorezm regions. For her CSP Practicum, Ayzada was placed at Asian Women United of Minnesota (AWUM) in Minneapolis, Minnesota where she engaged in hands-on advocacy for survivors of domestic violence and trafficking. For her follow-on project in Uzbekistan, Ayzada plans to produce a handbook on preventing sexist elements in public and in workplaces with cases, solutions, and training sessions.
