Barun Ghimire
As the human rights lawyer for the Law and Policy Forum for Social Justice, Barun Ghimire has experience designing and leading strategic litigation cases relating to the rights of migrant workers and their families in Nepal. For his CSP practicum, Barun collaborated with IRCO Legal Services in Portland, Oregon where he worked with the immigration and disability legal services team to develop programming and intergrete with other IRCO programs, including survivor services, senior services, workforce development, community health, and other cultural centers. For his follow-on project in Nepal, Barun plans to design and implement a community legal empowerment program for accountability involving migrant workers and their families.
