As the Founder of SAVVY ELEMENT, Batoul Hakim has experience designing and manufacturing green products and processes that reduce the generation and use of hazardous substances. Upon returning to Lebanon, Batoul plans to expand the scope of her startup’s work to include more resource-efficient, safer and innovative design of molecules, materials and green processes, as well as to organize workshops on green and sustainable chemistry topics. Batoul will be place at Life City in New Orleans, Louisiana supporting local businesses and Green start ups to maintain sustainable impact on the environment.
