Bethshiva works in the tourism sector as the Owner/General Manager of Calypso Adventures. For adults aged twenty-four to sixty-five from North America and Europe interested in visiting Costa Rica, Calypso Adventures is a tour operator/travel agency that offers personalized private experiences ideal for families and groups of friends. Bethshiva aims to empower women by providing unique travel experiences in the short term and ultimately wishes to establish a kayaking/rafting training center for women. Coming into the YLAI Fellowship, Bethshiva’s top business challenge is Scaling and Expansion. More specifically, they wish to connect with other entrepreneurs and businesses in the travel industry. During the Fellowship Placement, Bethshiva hopes to gain the knowledge to control and enhance the company’s finances and improve the company’s marketing strategy.
