As a research consultant for EDUCA, Camila Olivero has experience conducting research on public policy and global development topics. Upon returning to the Dominican Republic, Camila plans to contribute to evidence-based design of public policy for development and civic empowerment. Camila will be placed at Committee for a Better New Orleans in New Orleans, Lousiana, working on the Community Participation Program and the People’s Budget, where she will conduct extensive community outreach to create equity and opportunity for all New Orleanians by developing community leaders, fostering civic engagement, and advocating for open, effective, accountable government.
