Carolina works in the Health sector leading Plan 3D. The fellow is a product designer managing her start-up focused on improving patient care and supporting healthcare professionals through an online platform and 3D bio models for clinical simulation. They offer 3D-printed bio models for surgical planning and a 3D interactive platform to communicate fluently with the medical team, reducing the risks and time during surgery. Their customers are Healthcare Centers (public and private hospitals). They also develop unique didactics models for medical training to improve the long learning curve in specific clinical procedures. Customers of the didactic models are mainly academic centers, and these models are used by teachers and students. Coming to the YLAI Fellowship, Carolina's top business challenge is Scaling and Expansion.
