As a psychologist and project coordinator at the nonprofit organization Woman to Woman, Celstina Mucollari supports women’s rights through education, counseling, and advocacy initiatives. She has more than seven years of experience in this area, specializing in the prevention of domestic abuse, gender-based violence, and aggressive behavior among youth. During her fellowship, Mucollari worked at Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence in San Jose, California, where she gained knowledge of effective strategies for increasing awareness of women’s rights. Having completed the Community Solutions Program, Mucollari is pursuing her fellow-on project, “Youth together on preventing gender-based violence in Shkodra District," which aims to prevent and combat gender-based violence among youth in Shkodra by providing them with a safe space to reveal their attitudes toward violence and empower them to become actively involved in developing a peaceful environment for themselves and their peers.
