As the Development Manager of SAMAS Association, Cristina Biciila works to make the SAMAS Association self-sustainable, works on the Association's long-term development and communication strategy, and coordinates the implementation of activities. While in the U.S., Biciila worked with Action for Healthy Kids in Chicago, where she developed the individual donors strategy, assisted the Chicago Marathon individual fundraising event, and developed the Giving Tuesday campaign. Since her return to Romania, Biciila has developed the SAMAS perinatal educators network by specializing nurses and midwives to provide education about pregnancy and health for mother and baby and developed the Healthy Start project, a healthy nutrition education program for kindergartens.
